The Personal Energy Platform (PEP™) is a portable energy storage systems (ESS) comprising a smart power management system, a battery management system, internal batteries providing backup capability. PEP™ accesses 120V/240V grid power via an AC wall outlet, supports direct connections of renewable sources like solar and wind, and provides power to multiple directly connected AC and DC end devices.

Solar & Wind
PEP™ supports directly connected solar panels, shades, or windows, and wind turbines to simultaneous charge internal batteries and power connected devices. Rooftop solar consumers can further lower their utility bills by 30% or more. Community solar customers get lower utility bills by charging PEP™ during low rate periods for use during higher rate periods. All PEP™ customers gain automatic backup power for their critical devices like refrigerators, routers, furnaces, medical devices, and security systems.
